On average, RTL Starters students are 2 years younger than Cambridge University Young Leaner candidates taking the test elsewhere.
Despite this huge difference in age, over the last 5 years, 85% of our Starters students have achieved 4+ shields.
In recent years however, an average of 90% of our students have achieved 4+ shields across all three skill areas examined: reading & writing, listening and speaking.
